How to create a colorful rainbow macrame coaster! This DIY coaster is made completely out of double half hitch knots. This is a beginner knot, but can be a little tricky for some people. I recommend feeling comfortable tying this knot before attempting a full project like this.

My coaster measures in at about 6in x 6in, with an extra 1.5in in fringe all the way around. Adjust the size by using more or less ropes.

My coaster ends by having the fringe brushed out. For an alternative, you can hot glue the fringe to the back of the coaster so it is hidden.
