After looking for the perfect Kayak Crate and watching lots of videos, I determined that I was just going to have to make my own. I considered buying a milk crate and cutting it down to fit my needs but I didn’t want a cut up milk crate on my boat. I came up with the idea of using PVC to build my own custom crate but I wasn’t sure what I would do for the side until I ran across the PVC boards on Amazon. These PVC boards are perfect for this project and they aren’t too expensive. After purchasing the PVC pipes fittings and PVC Boards, this project came in at right at $35.00.
