My brother and I are one of the many who dont like the fact that were being forced into changing the design of our channels. Instead of (as our way of?) joining in with the futile protests, we opted for making a video. We decided to keep it light-hearted, though.
Hooray for sarcasm overload.
Please try to ignore the several glaring inconsitencies throughout. orz
On another note, Ive finally switched from the dreadfully slow, unstable and incompatible Premiere for editing my videos, and I think it shows. I was able to spend more time editing and less time waiting for / restarting the program. The name of the program I now use, along with the rest of the credits, is at the end of the video.
I was more than a little nervous uploading this, truth be told, for fear of it being removed and them marking my channel as forever being a bad one. But I uploaded it anyway, hoping that a company as big as YouTube wouldnt sink to those standards, and might even take a hint at what its customers like.")

This is a 15-minute show that I rushed together in a week for a small party in London called WOTA, which has a Japanese theme. This was the 12th WOTA, and the final one organised by Piloru. This show is 5 times longer than any show Id made at the time, but I still only had a week from start to finish (which is how long I took to make the 3-minute Dark/Light show). As a result, its nowhere near as detailed as my other shows.
The music starts off as hardstyle, turns to hardcore and ends in trance. The first 3 songs are from USAOs set from day 1 of the online music event Otaku Hardcore Revolution 4, and the final song is by Halozy. The songs are:

I attempted to record this video in 3D with one camera by moving it slightly between 2 separate shots, but it didnt turn out very well. This is partially because the swirls of fog arent in the exact same positions in both shots, and because I apparently moved the camera a little wrongly.
This video version is recorded with my HD camcorder so the text is clear and easy to read, but it struggles to see the colour of the lasers (blue is invisible at times, and theres no difference between red/pink, yellow/green, cyan/green). I also recorded the show with my old DV camcorder, which sees the colours well, but its not HD, so text is harder to read.")

Merry Christmas! The song is a (shortened) remix of the opening theme of Clannad After Story, 「時を刻む歌」 (Toki Wo Kizamu Uta), from the album H -Heart and Beat Technology- by Halozy.
I started working on this show later than I should have, leaving me with 6 days to make it all. I focussed the most on the mirrored red and green patterns in sync with the voice. I used a fabric (organza) screen again to make the actual lines visible.
The Christmas lights I hastily put around the windows are being controlled by my custom StepMania lights box, and are playing the steps to a simfile made by Gundam-Dude. I modified my StepMania Player program to remotely click Play/Stop buttons on another computer (the lights were controlled by SMP on my computer upstairs, which started the laser show on my laptop downstairs). I will keep this feature for people to use when I release the next version. =)
I used my old (non-HD) camcorder for recording it because it sees the colours of the lasers well (as you can see in the video of my previous laser show, my HD cam does not). Unfortunately, there are a few dead pixels (NOT caused by recording this show). Also, I forgot how un-sensitive it is in the dark - the pan at the beginning was to show some snow, but its barely visible, so Im not sure why I bothered to keep it.
It feels like only last week that I was making Flandres Christmas Light Show...

This was the 10th cosplay act at Animecon 2011 in Almelo, the Netherlands, on May 7th (Saturday). It ended up being the winning act in the competition.
No microphones were used for this act, so I tried to make the speech easier to hear in editing, but theres still a lot of background noise (I was at the back of the hall =/ ).")

We were hit by a large amount of snow early this February in 2009 and I was eager to catch some shots with my HD camera to go along with a song which Id recently got addicted to. The song used is a cut-down version of FREEZING ON ME by IOSYS (I had to cut it down from 4m40s since I didnt record enough different video to last that long without the finished video ending up uninteresting). Its a remix of Cirnos theme from Touhou Project, and with Cirno being an ice fairy and associated with the number 9, this was too perfect an opportunity for me to miss.")
