I demonstrate my custom strap keeper. I keep calling it a web dominator but it's not really.
My MGB has a 2 inch shoulder strap that had a ton of excess left over after I had adjusted it. This was my way of keeping it all wrapped up neatly and out of the way!
The leather I used was 4mm thick at least, you can soak it in hot water and then let it dry to harden it up if you like. The elastic can be bought at craft stores. The elastic in this video was 1 inch thick.
Take a piece of thick leather and carefully measure and cut out 4 slots, two on the sides for the strap which will be large enough for the straps to fit through and two slots top and bottom for the elastic. Sew the elastic to one of the top or bottom slots. And that's it!
