In this video I get to check off an item on the "honey-do-list" that is sorely needed in our new house. The pantry is one of the most regularly used and also most neglected areas of any home. I'll be ripping out the gaudy builder-grade wire shelves and replacing them with painted wood shelves and cabinet bases.
I'm also going to be completing this project without a table saw! I haven't got a new one yet but not to worry - I have my Kreg track saw and ACS table. I'll show you just how versatile it is! My wife has dreamed of an organized pantry with neatly stacked containers for all of our food, snacks, and baking supplies. This is my attempt to make that dream a reality! This video represents part 1 of 2 in the build series to complete the pantry. Part 1 includes demo of the existing wire shelves, building the lower cabinet frames, building the 3 upper shelf frames, installing the top/bottom plates on the shelves, and finally adding a distressed butcher block top.
