Eufy security camera motion detection upgrade.
In this video find out how to DIY a Eufy motion sensor for outdoor use.
If you have a Eufy security system with a HomeBase 1, HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3 (Eufy S380/Eufy S330) with PIR cameras, you might find that your motion detection range is limited. Sometimes you miss capturing relevant video because it takes time for the cameras to turn on before recording starts.
This is a great solution to add an outdoor PIR motion sensors to extend Eufy security camera outdoor motion detection range. Watch to see how to DIY your own Eufy outdoor motion sensor to increase the Eufy motion detection zone.
UPDATE: We have used 2 Eufy motion sensors outdoors for over 2 years, as shown in the video, and no issues so far. Original batteries have lasted. Everything is working as expected even through two winters.
