Design by D9 | DIY Moroccan lantern inspired candle holders that you can use 3 different ways. @DesignbyD9 | Uploaded July 2020 | Updated October 2024, 58 minutes ago.
Welcome back to my channel!
I wanted a moroccan vibe for some candle holders. So I used dollar store cylinder vases to make these moroccan lantern inspired candle holders. I did them up in three colours to provide you with some options. I also styled them different 3 ways.
The paint pens I used were Scribbler and Tulip brand, and are 3D fabric paints. I bought them at Michaels. I liked the gold colour of the scribbler brand better. But I found that because of the design of the bottle, it required that you squeeze the bottle so hard to get the paint out that my hand was aching by the time I was done, only part of the project. So I would definitely recommend the tulip brand over the scribbler. Or if you can't find that brand, choose one that has more of an oblong shape, as opposed to a round bottle, so that it's easier to use.
I welcome your comments. Let me know what you liked, and what you didn't like, so that I can do better next time.
