DIY Modern Bench Sofa Made from 2x4s:

I built this bench to go into my current van conversion that I'm working on, but this can be applied to any other situation. Thanks for watching!

Step 1:
Cut your 2x4s to make two separate frames for the front and back of your bench.

Step 2:
Cover those 2x4s with 1/2 inch plywood on the two sides and top of your bench.

Step 3:
Then connect the two frames using drawer slides.

Step 4:
Build your drawers to fit inside of the drawer spaces that you just created. Connect the two drawer members to form a fully functional drawer.

Step 5:
Cover the front face of the drawers using framing strips. I used the same plywood sheet that I used on the rest of the bench for this.
