Hey guys! I have a continuous diamond pattern for you today that will also show you how to create detailing in between diamonds and how to add fringe.

Thanks again so much for your support! Okay let’s get started on today’s tutorial.
Set up - cut 3 pieces of 3mm string, each piece is 2 meters in length. Fold each piece in half and attach to your dowel using a Lark’s Head knot. We will be creating a continuous diamond pattern with double half hitch knot (DHHK) detailing in between the diamonds.
Use the inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 3 DHHKs working down and to the right. Use the current inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 2 DHHKs working down and to the left.
Using the same filler cord and the inside left cord as your working cord tie 1 DHHK working down and to the right. Use the other cord on the left as your working cord and tie 1 more DHHK. Repeat on the right side of your work. Tie one more DHHK with the two middle cords to connect the two sides.
Using the outside left cord as your filler cord tie 2 DHHKs underneath the diamond. Repeat on the right side of your work. Tie one more DHHK with the two middle cords to connect the two sides.
I’m going to add another row of DHHK detailing but if you like it as is you could repeat the pattern above. Using the second cord on the left as your filler cord tie 1 DHHK working underneath the previous row. Repeat on the right side of your work. Tie one more DHHK with the two middle cords to connect the two sides.
We will tie another diamond but this time add a berry knot in the middle. Using the inside right cord as your filler cord tie 2 DHHKs working to the right.
Tie 3 square knots with the 4 middle cords - leave a little bit of space above the first square knot. Complete your berry knot by bringing the middle cords through the centre of the cords and then tie one more square knot underneath the berry to secure it in place.
Use the outside cord as your filler cord and tie 2 DHHKs underneath the berry knot. Repeat on the right side of your work. Tie one more DHHK with the two middle cords to connect the two sides.
Tie one or two more rows of DHHK detailing as you did underneath the first diamond. I’m only going to tie one row of detailing underneath this diamond. Repeat this pattern to create a continuous diamond pattern of your desired length.
To add fringe, cut a piece of string however long you’d like your fringe to be (I’ve cut mine about 2 feet), fold it in half and attach it to the outer side of your work using a cow hitch knot.
