Hi everyone! I am super excited to share my macrame leaf keychain with you all! This is a great leaf pattern that you can also use in other projects like garland, a wall hanging, earrings, and more.

💛 My online macrame class: graywonders.retrieve.com/store

🧵 ROPE USED:
- 5mm Braided Cotton Cord from Bobbiny.
- Other example shown is 5mm Single Strand Cotton.

Leaf Variations:
1) Add or remove square knots at the start for a different stem length.
2) Add an extra square knot at the end to give your leaf a more pointed look.
3) Remove the 2nd row of 4 double half hitch knots for a slightly smaller leaf.

Ways to end your leaf pattern:
1) Glue ends to the back of the leaf. Add a felt backing to make it look nice. You can even sew on leaf veins to the back!
2) Leave the ends hanging straight down for fringe.
3) Trim the ends super short and add a little clear fabric glue to make sure the knots don't come undone.
