Hey guys! I have a fun pattern for you today. It’s a large shape, close to a diamond but a bit different. I added a little extra detailing to the inside of the shape. If you are enjoying my tutorials a like, comment and subscribe really helps me out. Thanks so much. Let’s get started.
The design itself measures 6 inches wide by 5 inches long. Cut 14 pieces of 3mm string, each piece is 4 ft in length. Fold each piece in half and attach to your dowel using Lark’s Head knots. Use the inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 14 dhhks working down and to the right.
Use the current inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 13 dhhks working down and to the left.
Use the 11th cord from the left as your filler cord and tie 3 dhhks working down and to the right. Repeat on the right side of your work.
Tie one more dhhk with the two middle cords to connect the two sides.
Use the 7th cord from the left as your filler cord and tie 7 dhhks working down and to the right. Repeat on the right side of your work.
Use the 3rd cord from the left as your filler cord and tie 11 dhhks working down and to the right.
Use the cord on the left as your filler cord and tie 13 dhhks working down and to the right.
Thanks so much for watching!
