I’ve been exploring some macrame designs lately and thought I’d share this easy DIY Leaf Vine Macrame pattern with you. While there are lots of “leaf/vine” variations that you can try, this one is great for those at the beginner and intermediate level.
One of my favourite macrame knots has got to be the double half hitch knot. I love the clean look of it and its wide application.

Once you start practicing this knot to create a couple of designs, it becomes easier to envision using it in other, more unique ways, like this DIY Leaf Vine Macrame pattern.
You can use it to create curves, angles and straight rows, as you'll see in this macrame tutorial. It’s that versatile.
