Saw a Katadyn Base Camp Gravity Fed Water Filter product review on Peak Survival's YouTube Channel and thought to myself "that's an easy DIY backpacking gear project".
I already had the replaceable Katadyn Hiker Pro Water Filter element that comes with the pump and used an extra 8 liter silnylon dry stuff sack that has carried water before. Ranger bands create the leak proof seal around the stuff sack and filter. (You can do without the water bottle neck. I used it primarily to protect the bottom of the silnylon stuff sack). The flow rate was surprisingly fast.
