Details of materials used:
I forgot to say on video, when the circle gets bigger you will notice that you have to do maybe 2 or 3 stitches in each chain as you go around... you will know what I mean when you make....
I used a 4mm crochet hook
Your local hardware store should be able to give you some jute rope and twine. Hemp rope will also work.
I got 8mm thickness jute rope for this coaster. I got about 50 feet/16 yards so I have enough rope to make many.
The jute twine is 2 mm but any string will work...
