In this video tutorial I will show you how to make a pen with invisible ink for secret messages. This magic DIY pen is must-have school stuff if you like to send written messages or love letters to your friends just in class.
For my secret DIY pen you will need a fountain pen with cartridge (I bought mine just for 1$), 100% lemon juice (or vinegar) and a syringe (not necessary). How to make DIY Invisible Ink Pen - watch in my video tutorial.
How does it work... Write a message on the sheet of paper. You will see nothing! :) But that's the point! To read the text you wrote - hold a paper above a candle flame (or lighter, or hot bulb lamp). The distance between candle and paper must be 15 cm and more. Please! Be careful with fire! All you need is to heat up your paper - not burn. You will see how letters you wrote start to appear in a moment! Just to be clear - don't bring lighters and candles to school! Write and receive your messages in class - but read after school! And be careful! :)
Nobody wants to be caught by teachers or parents on writting something private. So among all back-to-school stuff wich you want to make before school starts - my DIY Secret Pen must be in TOP 5.
And, Shhh! Don't tell teachers :)
