LifeDIYJosie (LifeAt50&Beyond) | DIY HOLIDAY WREATH HANGING LANTERN RUSTIC CHANDELIER || DOLLAR TREE DIY WINTER DECOR FARMHOUSE STYLE @LifeDIYJosie | Uploaded December 2018 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
Hi everyone, in today's video, I am decorating my hanging lantern/chandelier for Winter. This DIY Dollar Tree Holiday Wreath Lantern is now hanging from the ceiling in our kitchen above the dining table. I made the lantern/chandelier back in Summer, so the hanging planter basket was in season at that time. If you don't have the wire hanging planter basket to hold the small lantern that I used, you can skip that and just use the wire wreath form and the wire wastebasket. You can attach with a zip tie the small lantern to the bottom part of the inverted wastebasket. You can also use fairy lights and string them around for added brightness! Let me know what you think of this project and if you will attempt to make one too! I am sure you will love this lantern/chandelier that you can decorate for every season! You can use this hanging lantern to decorate inside or outside your home! ENJOY!
Materials used:
1 Dollar Tree wire wastebasket
1 Dollar Tree wire wreath form
1 Dollar Tree wire hanging planter basket
Zip ties (to attach the 3 items above)
1 Dollar Tree small lantern
4 Dollar Tree silver votive candles
1 wire evergreen garland (I got mine at 99 Cents Only Store. Dollar Tree carries garlands and wired stems that you can use too!)
4 pieces Dollar Tree wired evergreen stems (they come 12 in a pack for $1)
6 Dollar Tree small red velvet bows
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors/wire cutter
