This was made from my old remington electric razor in which the foils have worn out and developed holes and now pinches. I cannot find new foils as my walmart does not carry them. Now I have two of these razors and they both failed. Do not buy this razor unless you don't mind dropping $40 on a new one every 2-3 months. But I turned one of them into an awesome fan. I basically just took the waterproof chassis out of the shell and removed the brass thingy from the motor and a couple of plastic parts that were sticking out. Add a fan blade from an old personal fan and I made this. This thing uses 2 NiMH rechargeable batteries at 2.4 volts (unsure of mA as was not marked) This fan is very powerful and is rechargeable with the stock charger that came with the razor and recently this thing blew a transistor b/c it turned on and was jammed and the magic smoke flew from the on-off transistor but the rest of the circuit is fine, it still charges and I added a switch between the battery and motor and mounted the switch and it works great now. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.
