If you have a medium sized hole in drywall, a California Patch is a great repair method. This drywall repair method used the paper face of the drywall as the "seam tape" - which is pretty cool.
After making the repair, I used @DAPProducts 2 in 1 Orange Peel Drywall Spray texture to match the surrounding orange peel wall texture. This product has an adjustable spray angle and allows for the density of the spray to be adjusted as well.
