This kit turned out cute and it was fun to make. It was very tedious and time consuming but I enjoyed it since I like such crafts. I appreciated the fact that all the wooden parts were precut and painted. That saved a lot of time and headache! Imagine painting all those tiny parts! No thank you! The instructions were written in chinese but the pictorials were very helpful.
I was not a fan of the packaging. All the parts were bagged and literally shoved in a box with no padding. Some of the fragile wooden parts were damaged from the poor packaging and shipping. I was able to fix them but they need to improve on the packaging since they ship many orders internationally.
It was saddening that some parts did not fit properly, affecting the overall look of the final product. As seen in the video the top moulding was the biggest issue I had. Perhaps quality control would've been helpful
The light components were inconvenient since the copper wires were not exposed enough for me to properly twist and connect them. Luckily I had a wire stripper available to fix the issue. The manufacture needs to fix the issue or else many people will not be able to work with the lighting.
