Easy ways to change the décor of a room with inexpensive tools and a colored glaze. A colored glaze is a translucent or transparent medium that is applied to the surface and removed or textured (broken) to show the base color through an impression made by a tool, i.e. a sponge, rag, etc.
Decorative painting and glazing have a thousand year history of adding visual interest to walls and other architectural features. It is also called faux painting, faux finishing, ragging, sponging, glazing, etc.

-Ragging-Cotton Bed sheet cloth
-Stripes- 1 inch blue masking tape
-½ “ nap microfiber roller- 4 inches wide
Parchment finish:
-2 square yards cotton cheesecloth – Low or 50 grade
-4 inch chip brush
-½ inch nap microfiber roller on a 6 to 9 inch frame
-Application brushes
