Gave away my cutting stand to a friend earlier this year. Made a new one and took some pictures along the way to make this video. Designed to be made with just a few common tools and for reasonably cheap. This design is for tatami and pool noodles.

I'll have a follow up video that shows a few options for cutting other types of targets such as water bottles / milk bottles / etc.
