Here’s how to make a coat dress with pockets. In Part 1 of this DIY tutorial, we will alter a couple of our pattern pieces, cut out the garment and begin sewing. I used a wax print fabric (ankara) to achieve this look. Check out the time markers below to pick up right where you left off.
