It's Christmas project time - once again I've made a simple PCB in KiCad and I've had it manufactured by PCBWay.com/?from=atomic - this time they even included a little Christmas gift.
See if you can spot the semi deliberate mistake in the Schematic...
0:00 - Unboxing the PCBs
1:00 - Soldering/Assembly
4:56 - Does it work?
5:22 - KiCad Schematic
9:09 - KiCad PCB Layout
16:07 - PCBWay ordering
16:41 - Merry Christmas!
I've got another video that I'm hoping to finish before Christmas, but if you miss that one, I'll see you in the New Year. Hope you all have a great holiday break!

![Record & Playback Audio on ESP32 SD Card: Step-by-Step Guide & Demo
In this video, we record audio to an SD Card as a WAV file and then play it back.
If you like ESP32 audio videos - Ive got a complete set on this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5vDt5AALlRfGVUv2x7riDMIOX34udtKD
Im using an I2S microphone in the video which Ive set up to use DMA to collect the samples. These are streamed straight to the SD Card and we create the WAV file header so that its a valid file.
For playback, Im using an I2S 3W amplifier board from Adafruit. This is connected to a 4ohm speaker. Once again we use DMA to transfer the samples which are streamed from the SD Card.
You should be able to modify the code to use the built-in ADC and an analogue microphone board, and you can modify the code to output using the DAC which would let you wire this up to headphones or an analogue amplifier.

[3:22] Conclusions and wrap up
As always the code is on GitHub: https://github.com/atomic14/esp32_sdcard_audio

I think I might turn this into a nice little voice memo device.
