Watch me make a charcoal retort. Just exercising my inner maker here. Sounds like using charcoal can be a really helpful amendment for soil to help it retain nutrients. I need to get rid of some of the brush piles I am generating over at the house so I had a good excuse to build the retort. It is really nice on cool fall evenings to hear the roar of the retort and warm myself with the intense heat it puts out. I hope you enjoy. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
