DIY baby room decor. Gorgeous hot air balloon shape with a place for adding a photo. Very unique, very delicate, perfect for a gift for a boy, or a girl. This is a great handmade gift as nothing like that can be bought in the stores.
In the video I'll show you step by step how to create a home decor piece that has layers and exciting elements but it is not difficult to make at all. You will need a base, scrapbooking papers and matching embellishments. As a base for this one-of-a-kind hot air balloon home decor, I used an MDF shape from Woodouts. Almost the whole element is covered with scrapbooking paper apart from one place where I used acrylic paint. I'll teach you how to make your own template for each layer that is attached to the top part of the balloon. You will find out what embellishments are best to use while creating a home decor, how to layer elements, how to finish off the project and more!
I'm using papers from Lemoncraft 'Waiting for you' collection which is full of baby elements, baby clothes, toys, animals etc. In the 6x12 pad you will find images suitable for baby girl or baby boy in brown, mint and pink colors.
I decided to keep my project in shades of brown as I know it will look perfect in my friend's baby's room.
