Here’s a quick tutorial on how I make my own artist charcoal powder from compressed charcoal sticks super fast and easy!

If you’re like me, charcoal powder can be difficult to come by, so I decided to make my own. I tried filing down compressed charcoal sticks using sand paper or scraping it with a blade, but for me...it’s waaaaay too time consuming! I had an extra coffee/spice grinder and decided to dedicate it to grinding up charcoal (and even graphite!)
