Most of us look at an SWR reading and decide whether an antenna is "good" or "bad." But SWR only tells part of the story.

In this video, We are introducing a new application we've been developing that takes standard Touchstone (.S1P) files from your NanoVNA or other vector network analyzer and transforms them into meaningful, easy-to-understand information.

Instead of staring at a Smith Chart or raw S11 data, you'll be able to visualize:

• Resistance (R) across the HF spectrum
• Reactance (X) and whether your antenna is inductive or capacitive
• Total impedance magnitude (|Z|)
• SWR and reflection coefficient
• Phase angle and calculated inductance/capacitance
• Interactive Smith Chart analysis
• Instant frequency selection with amateur band shortcuts
• One-click export to Google Sheets or CSV for further analysis

Whether you're building an EFHW, vertical, dipole, loop, random wire, or experimenting with matching networks, this tool helps you understand why your antenna behaves the way it does, not just whether it's matched.

We'll take a tour of the interface, explain what each graph tells you, and demonstrate how to use the software to make better antenna decisions.

If you've ever wanted to get more out of your NanoVNA measurements, this tool was built for you.

If you enjoy practical amateur radio projects, antenna theory, and test equipment, consider subscribing for more videos covering antennas, ferrites, matching networks, NanoVNA measurements, TinySA testing, and other tools that help make better stations.
