Archus Art World | DIY air dry clay using corn flour and PVA glue @Archanasehgalposts | Uploaded May 2022 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
1 cup corn flour/ corn starch
1 cup PVA glue
2 spoon olive oil
2 spoon lemon juice
Few points to remember.....
** Don't heat this mixture at one go, heat it in interval of 10 to 15 seconds.. depending on your microwave temperature
**You can also prepare this clay on gas stove using non stick pan.
** Once a dough forms, take it out on flat surface and knead it while it's lil hot, ( If you let it cool down, you won't be able to make soft dough)
** Apply moisturizer and massage this dough until you get soft non sticky dough.
** When you pull this clay and if it's forming a smooth tear drop shape then your clay is ready to use.
** Store this clay in plastic wrap and keep it in an air tight container.
** Apply oil to your mold before putting clay, this will help to take out casting from mold easily.
** This clay does get shrink little bit after drying.
