This new design features NEMA 17 stepper motors for the X and Y axes, linear rails for precision, and a mini Servo motor for lifting the pen on the Z axis. It also includes a custom-designed Atmega-based PCB for controlling 3 axes, limit switches, and a servo motor. For the Y-axis, a wheel with mini bearings ensures stability and smooth motion.

In this video, I’ll guide you through assembling the 3D-printed parts and wiring the electronics. Don’t worry if you don’t have a custom PCB; you can also use an Arduino board and CNC shield!
