The fight between Witch Doctor and Minotaur during the Battlebots Season 6 Finale caused a huge amount of controversy online. There were a number of things that just felt wrong here, and the crowd sure made their thoughts known. In this video, I will analyze some unedited live footage to compare against the TV edit, show the judges scorecards, and discuss how these elements paint a picture of what went wrong. Ill also state my thoughts as to what was the real issue with this fight, and if I agreed with the decision.

My Brushless Gearbox design is finished and free for all! Ive open-sourced the design on my web store by listing it as pay-what-you-want. Im including not only the gearbox housing but all parts in the assembly as well as my hub design! You can just drag-n-drop this into your own robot design. Ive also posted a link to a full bill of materials on the store page alongside links to a 3D printing service you can use if you dont have the ability to print CF Nylon yourself.
This project was a fun challenge that led me to learn a lot more about the limitations of 3D printers and 3D printing materials. While it took me over a month to complete, many iterations, and weeks of trial and error, I think the end product speaks for itself and is definitely worth the effort!
