Divine Sovereign is a Polish atmospheric black/epic doom solo project formed in 2023, drawing influence from Ethereal Shroud, Panopticon, Gallowbraid, and Atlantean Kodex. Its music explores the world of Autaxia, a planet where an advanced species uncovers the remains of a lost civilization.
The new album continues the story: after winning independence, the inhabitants begin to lose their psionic powers. In response, their king and priests turn to brutal rituals in a bid to restore them and achieve immortality.
Autaxia Chronicles: A House Divided revisits the theme of religious fanaticismโthis time focusing on how it can fracture societies and spark internal conflict. The album follows Autaxia Chronicles: Dawn Of A New Age, released in 2025 via Wormholedeath.
