the opening song of the anime Witch Craft Works
composer: fhána
SHEET MUSIC HERE: mediafire.com/view/78d4pk4rvb6vx9q/witch_craft_works.pdf
(sorry for the very long wait, I was busy repairing my preamp that broke down while I was making this cover... see my cover of Anata ga ita Mori for the "new" sound of my violin)
I hope you enjoyed this cover!!! ^_^
------------------------
from behind the scenes:
what I am wearing in the melody part (the largest pane) is my school uniform... rush recording during break time then rushed back to school for my next class hehe
this was played on a student quality violin strung with Zyex strings (along with my covers of Kyoukai no Kanata and Sirius (Kill la Kill)
-first time to "detune"my violin 6 semitones down, last time I did was only one semitone (in Kill la Kill's opening song)... Zyex, you surprise me! (the "detune"I was talking about is called scordatura in music terms)
as usual, I use the piezo preamp I built by myself
the largest project I've made as of March 3, 2014 (and it was very mind boggling!!!)
this is my first 30 violins cover... took almost two months to finish because of many hindrances
softwares used:
Geniesoft Overture 4 (for sheet music)
Adobe Audition CS 5 (warning!!! this crashed on me for infinite times, may change to Cubase soon)
Ozone 5 Advance for mastering
Camtasia Studio 8 (for mixing the video tracks)
Camtasia Recorder (to record the video, comes with camtasia studio)
Moviemaker (for final video rendering, because Camtasia screws up the audio, for some reason I don't know) lol moviemaker hahaha

![「ne! ne! ne!」Slow Start OP-violin overdub cover
a violin cover of opening song of the anime Slow Start
This song was sang originally by the voice actresses of the anime.
Rearranged for violins by yours truly.
sheet music: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9nexi6dv88dff3c/Slow%20Start%20OP.pdf
[video re-uploaded because I messed up at some setting with the previous]
instrumentation:
violin 1 = 3 tracks
violins 2-7 = 2 tracks each
NO CELLOS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO ( I just recently discovered the pitch transpose feature of Cubase LE (^_^)/ so I used it for the low parts).
I moved my violins soundpost a bit farther from the bridge and fixed my DIY mic. I hope you notice the change of quality (and I hope its for the better TT^TT ).
technicals:
software: Cubase LE 7 / Camtasia 9
hardware: homemade electret mic and preamp circuit / generic USB soundcard
