Two cruisers approach in the corvette-filled hive,
Ten ships in an elite, invincible squad.

"The heart of their forces—the Technotrat’s God!"
Concealed from all crews is the deadliest reason,
The logic behind the fierce war that we wage.
No force could extract it through treason or season,
For not even torture could free it from cage.
To glory, deceitful and treacherous idol,
We offer this carnage, rejecting the cure!
For truth, like a poison, though sacred and vital,
Would weaken their hands that must fight and endure.
The gods may abhor this rebellious endeavor,
And grant us reprieves only sparingly now.

A vessel crippled and tumbling alone.
No crewmember knows of the aim we pursue,
What drives us to fight for our victory here.

Won’t let them succumb to the murmurs of fear.
The secret of letters will perish with me,
