Kayla Taylor, a young black, white and Hispanic ballerina was raised in the ultra-diverse Baha'i community. Kayla became aware of something the ballet world doesn’t like to shine a light on: that there isn’t much diversity there. “We must understand that we are one human family,” she says, “so look around the room. If there is an uneven ration in any category, ask yourself why. Then ask yourself how you can change it.”
