I've thrown off the rust of the fingers after a long time, only because of a friend. Enjoy this majestic neo-classical piano piece named "Divenire" (Italian | English- to become), originally by none other than Italian composer, Ludovico Einaudi - who is one of my most favorite pianists - a maestro who can capture emotion into melody so breathtakingly, in a way that it soaks your heart and puts you in a state of unresolved thoughtfulness.
Dedication:
I'm dedicating this to one of my old friends Adnan Chowdhury, who always prevented my permanent detachment from music due to my long standing depression for quite some time. He inspired me in countless ways. (He's moving off to Germany pretty soon). I will always miss you for real, man. A toast to our days of random convos, indie music in long drives or during dostogeer er nehari in early dawn & during naval er peyaju in the winter evenings. I'm writing all this stuff here so that these memories sit exactly with this music, and exactly where it belongs, in case you see this post popping up in a memory post notification from facebook in later years of life, to create a space for reminiscence.
May this song be a suitable farewell to your 'becoming' in the coming life.
