Here's a truth bomb for ya: If you truly want to improve your timing and groove, 'regular' metronome practice is not gonna cut it. The reason for this is that most musicians who practice with a metronome the traditional way get stuck in some sort of trap where they 'need' the metronome to be there in order for them to play in time, whereas the true development of timing and groove comes from within ourselves. That's where the exercises provided in the "Gap Click" app come in ( https://www.gapclick.app ) It's basically a metronome on steroids, designed to help you train your own inner clock and become a true master of time. In this video I'll walk you trought the app and show you some stuff that I've been doing with it over the past months.
