Shakopee Mayor Matt Lehman’s daughter-in-law, Ashley, died last November after being seriously injured in a T-bone crash last July in Scott County.
“All of our lives changed instantly and have been turned upside down ever since,” Lehman said.
Lehman is joining law enforcement agencies to kick off statewide distracted driving enforcement in April. Media attending can ride along with law enforcement trying to stop dangerous distracted driving.
