Conceptual distinction or distinction in theory alone means that the resulting division arising from the distinction is purely mental, but that the distinction is real and true as proven by the myriads of evidence from the Fathers, who conceptually distinguish the three persons in the Trinity, not to argue that they aren't really distinct, rather that they are distinct yet undivided.
