Ancient pyramids, ruins of forgotten cities that had better sewage systems than we have nowadays, the mysterious maps of Piri Reis, Easter Island or Incas leaving a trail of advanced knowledge of astrology...
It seems to me that in a distant past, there were advanced civilizations which all ended at some point.
I don't think civilization as we know today will survive either; Not at the rate we are destroying ourselves and our home planet. It made me wonder what will humankind find out about our civilization in a distant future...?
