Well, it's been a while! Here's an orchestral arrangement of Distant Promise (aka Faraway Promise) from the soundtrack of Xenogears by Yasunori Mitsuda. The arrangement features a celesta playing the music-box melody, along with string, brass, and light percussion backing. I have modified some of the harmonies in the original for sentimental effect.
This is a reworking and expansion of an old arrangement (still on the channel) I've been meaning to make for a while. Hope you enjoy!
PS: Don't listen on iPhone speakers -- the celesta (whether here or in Harry Potter music or Tchaikovsky) can get quite distorted by poor speakers.
