Disobedience - A Poem by A.A. Milne.

About the poem - This poem by A.A. Milne is a very interesting and funny piece about a young boy called James who warns his mother not go down to the end of the town without him. She does not listen to him and ends up missing. A bit spooky but loved by children all the same. The part of the charm of this particular poem lies in the role reversal which particularly appeals to young children.

About the poet - Alan Alexander Milne (18 January 1882 -- 31 January 1956) was a British author, best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh and for various children's poems. His book The World of Pooh won the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award in 1958. Milne was a noted writer, primarily as a playwright, before the huge success of Pooh overshadowed all his previous work.
