My ideas/pitches for original TV shows & movies that Disney Plus should make. Disney Plus may have all of our favorite Disney, Marvel, Pixar, & Star Wars movies, but their original content is lacking in quantity.
The few original shows that they do have, WandaVision, The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, etc. are good in quality but those are really the only options. And their most notable original movies, Soul & Mulan, were intended to go to theaters, and only went to the streaming service because of Miss Rona.
There are quite a few shows in the works but they're basically all Star Wars (Star Wars: Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Acolyte, Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, The Book of Boba Fett, Lando, & MORE??) and Marvel (Hawkeye, Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, What If, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, & more). We want more Disney proper. We're getting a Tiana show and a Moana show but I feel like we could do better and revive some of the classics.
So what do you think? What Disney Plus shows/movies do you want? How do you feel about a Haunted Mansion series? A Stranger Things-esque Alice in Wonderland series? A Game of Thrones approach to Sleeping Beauty? A live-action Hercules show? A live-action Disney Princess series? An animated Disney Princess series? A Cruella series featuring both Emma Stone and Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil? A Chloe x Halle visual music movie for the live-action Little Mermaid in the vein of Beyonce's Black is King? A Marvel MJ series with both Kirsten Dunst and Zendaya? A live-action Cinderella sequel series? An animated Cinderella series? A Moana and Ariel series? A traditionally animated Hansel & Gretel film? A dark Halloweentown series?
