The core strategy (0:59) revolves around out-resourcing the opponent and making favorable trades using cards like Gundam Aerial Rebuild, Sulleta Mercury, Overflowing Affection, Unforeseen Incident, and Striker Pack. Key units like Zowarts and Gundam Lfrithsprovide early game stall, while Kira Yamato, Ail Strike Gundam, and Freedom Gundam are important for blocking and control. The Archangel base is a staple for its ability to activate friendly units with blocker.
The video then delves into three variants:
• Blue Variant (4:53): This version incorporates White Base for additional deployment options and Show Resolve for drawing cards. It also includes Amuro Ray as a supporting pilot and ReZEL for heavy blocker matchups. The strategy focuses on overwhelming the opponent in the late game through card advantage and strong blocker units.
• Red Variant (7:52): This variant adjusts the base count to include Vesalius to meet the unique thresholds of Zaft cards. • Green Variant (10:45): This is a more control-oriented variant designed for late-game strategies. It includes Underground Desert Base for a six-base setup. Zowarts , Freedom Gundam, and Ail Strike Gundam are reduced to make room for the green package. Heero Yuy is the supplementary pilot, linking with Wing Gundam Zero for increased AP/HP. Simultaneous Fire is a command tech choice that grants breach, allowing blockers to make strong trades. Wing Gundam Bird Mode helps with EX resource deployment, and Wing Gundam and Wing Gundam Zero provide powerful top-end options for unblockable attacks and mass damage.
The creator also teases a potential Purple Gundam Exia Aerial Rebuild deck (13:55) when Starter Deck 7 is released, anticipating that purple mechanics will involve fetching and recurring cards from the trash.
