Have you seen Disney’s latest animated release, Strange World? In this nod to classic sci-fi adventure films, the adventurous Clade family sets out to help save the day by going into the uncharted territories of Avalonia. Err, scratch that - it’s actually the strange world that lives underneath Avaliona. Trust us, it only gets weirder from there. Packed with out of this world creations like flying fish, walking cliffs and blubbery aliens, Strange World certainly delivers on the strange. There are so many curious creatures to see on screen that it’s hard to keep up with all the colorful details. But, in true Disney form, it’s even harder to catch all the hidden easter eggs. Disney animators are known to throw in puzzling references and subtle nods to their past and future work that have us playing eye-spy during each scene. And this movie is no exception!
From references to Aladdin’s magic carpet to nods to some of the earliest Diseny attractions and rides, we’re here to help you find all of the things you missed during this crazy adventure. Think you can spot all of the Disney connections in this movie? Watch our latest video to find out - we guarantee you won’t expect number 7! Let us know your favorite easter egg in the comments. We want to know if we missed anything extra sneaky. And don’t forget to like this video and subscribe to The Things Animated if you want to keep up to date with all things animated.
