I have to commend the NPC dialogue and little between-mission moments again, because Dishonored keeps bringing Dunwall to life in ways I didn't even know I needed. The Hound Pits Pub could've easily been a simple home base, but every conversation with Emily, Callista, Samuel, Pendleton, Piero, Martin, and the rest of the Loyalists makes it feel like the world is still moving while Corvo is out causing problems in a mask. I cannot believe this came out in 2012. The Xbox 360 really was a magical era of releases, but I might be a little biased since it was the first console I saved up to buy. This time we're off to Kaldwin's Bridge for _Operation Mad Scientist:_ the Loyalists need Anton Sokolov alive and I need every opportunity to lose myself in Blink, Bend Time, rewired devices, floodlights, arc pylons, rooftops, side rooms, and whatever weapon happens to be funnest in the moment - I've clearly become lost in the high chaos sauce. I only see red and on a first playthrough it's ridiculously fun seeing all the different ways this game lets you get the task done 🥷💛
