It seems quicker, and is definitely more reliable and consistent. On a side not: trying out higher resolution, this is my first video edited and rendered with Sony Vegas Pro 11.0. I think I rendered it incorrectly because the 18 second video file ended up being 4.2GB... I'll have to look into that, if you know anything though please share.
