We start our Alaska and Canada cruise on Discovery Princess in Seattle. In this episode, part 1, we show you embarkation, we have a surprising cabin, and discuss our first impressions of this new ship to us. We enjoy plenty of cocktails, some excellent entertainment and have our first speciality dinner. We also explore our first port in Alaska Ketchikan.
We cruised to Alaska on Discovery Princess in September 2025. Our itinerary included Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria in Canada.
Our cruise package cost £4150 total for both of us, which also included flights from Heathrow to Seattle, flights from Seattle to San Diego and flights back to Heathrow from San Francisco.
