Rose Seidler was an accomplished cook and gracious entertainer. A collection of recipes kept among her personal effects have recently been translated from their original German. Handwritten recipes in English demonstrate the crossing of cultures as the Seidlers made new lives and social connections in Sydney. Collectively, they provide an insight into Rose’s culinary repertoire and the tastes and talents she shared with family and friends at Rose Seidler House.
