Welcome to the vibrant city of Nashville, the home of Vanderbilt Business.

The capital of Tennessee has many names:

1) "The Nation's Healthcare Capital" boasts over 900 healthcare companies and numerous startups. In fact, 6 of the nation's largest for-profit hospital chains have headquarters in Nashville.

2) "Athens of the South" alludes to the city's strong educational institutions. Like Ancient Athens, Nashville is a city of learning with Vanderbilt at its core.

3) "Music City" is more than meets the...ears. While it holds a reputation as the birthplace of country music, Nashville is also home to a variety of other genres, including rock, pop, Americana, and jazz. The city hosts festivals and concerts year-long and, as the "Songwriting Capital of the World," is the ideal place to expand your music taste with up-and-coming artists.

While that's plenty to brag about, these nicknames don't come close to covering all that Nashville has to offer. In this video, we explore how Nashville's dynamic business community merges with its diverse and trendy neighborhoods to offer Vanderbilt Business students an unparalleled experience brimming with opportunity.

Located in the heart of Music City, Vanderbilt's business school invests in its community in various ways, from Nashville events held on campus to student-owned start-ups right outside its doors.

Discover the exciting opportunities that await you as you pursue a business degree at Vanderbilt, deeply connected to Nashville's thriving business ecosystem.
