My 2026 Bolder Boulder was going so well, then disaster struck, and I was forced to walk, which is good for y'all because I then turned the day into an opportunity to create a "Streets Are For People," "Culture of Activity" video with an emphasis on several nasty STROADs as well as a few current and future safety improvement projects that we pass by along the way. The coolest thing I noticed out there this year was all the families and children running. They call the event the "People's Race" for a reason. It is truly a community celebration and a party in motion. This year, registrations were cut off at 53,801, the fourth-highest number on record.
